Ceramics has always been a passion of mine. And when I was studying Interior Design, I actually minored in Ceramic Sculpture! I have a wheel at my home studio and even though I don’t get to play on it as much as I would like right now, my ultimate dream is to be the old lady with her own ceramics studio and kiln 🙂
My passion for ceramics definitely means that searching for and picking out the perfect tile for my projects is a labor of love. And when I get to work with Heath Ceramic tiles, it is an absolute bonus! I really admire the mission behind Heath Ceramics. Maybe because it is so in line with my own design philosophy. But, being able to work with products that are well designed and high quality is probably one of the reasons I love this tile so much.
I recently took at trip up to the Los Angeles studio to source tiles for a mid-century modern project I am working on. I loved exploring the studio and always get so inspired when I am there! I ended up picking out the Crease In/Crease out tile for the home.
I am excited to share images when this mid-century modern project in Cardiff by the Sea is done. But, until then, here is a behind the scenes look at the Heath Ceramics tiles going in the kitchen.
